Job Overview:
We are seeking a bilingual, highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist with medical records management, including scanning, organizing, and maintaining patient files
- Provide support in managing patient services, including appointment scheduling and follow-up communication
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling sensitive patient data
- Assist with other office tasks as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical administrative support is a plus
- Proficiency in using office equipment such as printers, scanners, and phone systems
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
