SalaryIs directly involved with and helps manage daily office duties and relief of others' office jobs as necessary. Achieve operating results that are expected by Dairy Farmers of America senior management and our customers.
- Answer phones and direct calls, also all doors and camera (security) systems
- Greet visitors, check ID's, and sign them in
- Handle daily shipping of all UPS type and postal shipments
- Keep all bulletin boards current and up to date
- Update all employee information rosters, etc.
- Complete various daily reports as requested
- Order and pick up local supplies as needed
- Complete reports as may be requested by any staff members
- Provide back up to the other administrative positions in the office
- Perform data entry – support production and management team
- Attend required training, including but not limited to GMP's, HAACP, SQF, Safety, etc.
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement to include Lean, Kaizen, 5S and Leader Standard Work
- Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements
- Perform other tasks and jobs as assigned by direct manager

Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Past experience in a similar position
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to problem solve using the combined talents of various individuals within the Dairy Farmers of America organization
- Team player
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to interact in a positive way with all personnel within Dairy Farmers of America and with our customers
- 10 key calculator, excellent telephone skills, and basic computer skills and use of Internet, e-mail, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Microsoft Access and PowerPoint a plus
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
