Responsibilities:
- Assist the Front Office Manager in creating schedule and monitor labor for all front office staff daily to ensure productivity while providing the premier level of service the hotel demands.
- Train new staff members in their positions of employment to assure a successful and productive working environment.
- Counsel and advice employees on an as needed basis with the explicit goal of 100% guest satisfaction in mind related to their performance.
- Assist with check-in/check-out on daily basis to provide leadership by example.
- Manage the property management system as needed.
- Communicate daily with all departments in the hotel regarding group, VIP’S or special arrangements necessary.
- Distribute all arriving group and VIP information to all departments to ensure all areas are aware and prepared for the upcoming arrivals.
- Research and charge all guaranteed no-shows.
- Address and respond to formal guest complaints.
- Ensure the gift shop is properly stocked and maintained.
- Assist Front Office Manager with Weekly and Monthly Reporting.
- Be able to act as Manager on Duty when needed.
- Be able to stand/walk the whole shift.
- Flexible to shift change and available to work days, nights (overnights) and weekends as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Prior hotel Front Desk experience.
- Prior supervisory experience a plus.
