We are currently seeking a full time Front Desk Representative (“FDR”) for our Oakbrook location!
DENTAL FRONT DESK RECEPTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
This role rotates between our Oak Brook and Schaumburg Clinics.

The FDR is responsible for initially shaping the Eon experience for our clients and patients. Our ideal candidate possesses an extremely professional demeanor, is a great communicator, is uber-skilled at multi-tasking, has confidence and understands the perspective of our patients. The FDR manages the appointment schedules, enters patient information into the Company’s EMR system, answers patients’ questions, accepts and allocates payments, and oversees the flow of patient activity. The FDR collaborates with team members to ensure that the appropriate patient experience is delivered. This individual works cross-functionally with many facets of the organization and partners closely with clinical, lab, sales, finance and operations.
Responsibilities and Experience
- Greets patients professionally and warmly.
- Answers and directs all incoming calls.
- Receives patient payments and disburses with accuracy.
- Schedules patient visits and appointments consistent with clinic protocol and based on treatment needed.
- Ensures accurate reporting and recording of patient information, payments, etc.
- Is proficient with MOGO (our EMR system).
- Has familiarity with patients and where they are in the process of their treatment.
- Has a strong understanding of patient flow, clinic demands and how the front operations connect with the back operations.
- Contributes to an overall positive patient experience.
- Monitors patient wait times and ensures that the workflow runs smoothly.
- Meets non-clinical patient needs timely during visit.
- Partners with team to resolve issues that result in a positive patient experience.
- Ensures a welcoming, pleasant environment.
- Possesses a strong ability to problem-solve.
- Is empathetic, resourceful, positive, cordial, optimistic, outgoing, friendly and driven.
- Responds competently and calmly to practice demands; strong ability to multi-task.
- Assists with the maintenance of medical charts.
- Ensures practice scheduling calendar is current.
- Possesses a strong understanding of procedure codes.
- Produces financial reports as requested.
- Performs clinical duties that are within scope and ability, and as assigned.
- Be present in the office or other designated Company work location on a full – time basis (40 hours per week or more) to effectively and consistently collaborate with team members, including team members across departments or specialties.
