Position: Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Support Staff
Program: Family Care

Status: Full-Time, Hourly
Shift:
Monday 9:00am-6:00pm
Tuesday 9:00am-6:00pm
Wednesday 9:00am-6:00pm
Thursday 9:00am-6:00pm
Friday 9:00am-1:00pm
Description:
Act as receptionist for the Meier Center. Greet all clients, staff and visitors. Serve as first point of contact for those who utilized main business number. Maintain office supplies, perform general clerical duties and data entry, answer incoming telephone calls and provide administration tasks, specifically for Ex Dir and VPs who office from the building. Keep track of employee schedules. Assist billing and records management team as assigned and assist therapy team as needed. Help keep space tidy and organized.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
RECEPTIONIST/ADMIN DUTIES
Provide a professional, warm and welcoming presence in person and by phone for all visitors, staff and clients to the building.
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
Demonstrate detailed knowledge about the agency so that clients, callers and visitors can be routed efficiently and appropriately.
Welcome visitors or clients as they enter the building and alert the person they are there to see.
Keep track of therapists’ schedules and case assignments—remote and on-site, know who is in which office, maintain sign-in book.
Oversee Front Desk requests.
Perform filing, copying, collating or other office clerical duties, specifically for management, and for others as time allows.
Maintain office supplies.
Record problems and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
Perform data entry as needed.
Assist in keeping common areas clean and organized.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), Associates Degree preferred; minimum of one year experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The employee in this position must have the ability to use general office equipment, type and perform data entry and use computer software, including Windows and EXCEL documents.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 21 years of age, pass a background check and Family Care Safety Registry screening, fingerprint screen, drug screen and have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
