Purpose of jobThe Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for performing clerical tasks to support daily operations. Duties include answering and transferring phone calls, sorting, and delivering mail and greeting visitors when they arrive for meetings with management or sales staff. Role and Responsibilities
· Greeting visitors in person or on the telephone
· Answering or referring inquiries
· Maintaining employee and department directories as a guide for directing visitors
· Offering beverages to guests when necessary
· Scheduling meetings and travel for executives, as well as appointments for customers
· Maintaining lobby area
· Answering phones, answering inquiries, forwarding calls.
· Maintaining and ordering office supplies
· Managing company apparel orders
· Handles all outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail
· Drafts, reviews, and proofreads office documents
· Responsible for operating and maintaining office machines, including printers, copiers, and fax.
· All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED
· Exceptional customer service sills
· Strong verbal, written, and listening skills to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the organization.
· Must possess high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
· Superior interpersonal and phone etiquette skills to respectfully engage with guests and customers.
· Positive, professional attitude with a strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate.

· Must be able to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
· Ability to organize and plan work in advance, deciding on the most efficient or convenient manner in which to accomplish assigned tasks or projects, e.g., making plans, assigning personnel and resources appropriately.

Normally working in an office environment.
