Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and highly organized Salon Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact, the Salon Receptionist will be responsible for greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining the overall appearance of the salon. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, be able to multitask, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to client inquiries
- Provide information and assistance to clients, guests, and employees
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple staff members
- Process payments and retail purchases
- Assist with order entry and data management tasks
- Coordinate projects and events as assigned
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week/10 hour shifts
*expect to work Mondays and Fridays plus one additional day, as well as an occasional Saturday
