Position Overview:
Responsible for managing the reception area, welcoming visitors, answering and directing phone calls, providing information and various administrative tasks to support WorldSprings operations. Receptionist should be courteous, efficient and capable of multitasking to fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services:
- Welcoming guests to WorldSprings with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Aiding in the confirming of guest bookings, reservations and events.
- Helping guests navigate our website to purchase tickets or gift cards.
Phone and Email Management:
- Answering and directing incoming calls. Taking messages and assisting guests.
- Responding to generic email inquiries and correspondence.
- Forwarding sensitive information or personalized inquiries to correct manager or personnel.
Property, Product and Community Knowledge:
- Be well versed in property policies and procedures to be able to educate and inform guests with specific inquiries.
- Knowledge of Retail, Food and Beverage, and Spa and Wellness offerings to assist guests with inquiries.
- Some knowledge of surrounding areas and businesses to provide guests with recommendations for hotels, restaurants and local offerings.
Team Support:
- Education on Front Desk Cashier position and Spa and Wellness Reception to be able to support during peak times or call outs.
- Receiving and sorting incoming mail, preparation of outgoing mail.
- Lost and found support.
Attributes or Requirements:
- Ability to work weekends, weeknights and holidays.
- Outstanding customer service.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Previous receptionist experience.
- Proficiency in using office software and equipment.
- Multilingual skills a plus.
