We are looking to add fun, high-energy team members who want to become BFFs with dogs every day!

This job requires full devotion to the care of our Campers (dogs) and our fellow team members & pet parents. You will get to learn about canine behavior and how to ensure they interact safely in pack environments. You will be on your feet all day, monitoring them and cleaning (and cleaning and cleaning and more cleaning!) to keep everyone healthy. You will also interact with the pet parents at the Front Desk and tell them about all the cute things their dog did during the day, as well as answering phone calls, making reservations, etc!

Just a heads up… You will fall so in love with the dogs that you’ll watch them on our live cameras and think about how cute they are even on your days off! ;)

Think Before Applying…

· Must LOVE DOGS! If you are afraid of dogs, this is not the job for you. We do not have any breed or size restrictions.

· There is a lot of cleaning! And then recleaning! And recleaning again! We have professional cleaning procedures that help, but you will be on your feet during the entirety of your shift.

· Customer service is crucial. Our Pet Parents are just as important as our Campers. We are a big family, which makes the job extra special.

· Flexible schedules are necessary. We work very hard to accommodate school and other job schedules, but we do not give set schedules. Schedules fluctuate due to occupancy and other requests off. We also do not put up with call-offs and team members who are not reliable. We work at Camp to care for dogs. If we do not have appropriate staffing, we cannot give them the care they need. Our shift hours are between 6 am and 7 pm. Our team is also expected to work weekends & holidays.

General Duties:

• Greet and welcome all customers and campers in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist customers with questions, comments & concerns.
• Regularly demonstrate a sincere concern for the care, attitudes, and behaviors of pets and the relationships they have with their pet parents
• Recognize and perform specific care needs as communicated by the pet guardian and in accordance with company policy and procedures, ensuring the safety of each pet. This includes taking and writing special requirements on Camp Cards for fellow Counselors adherence and edification
• Dog Health Checks throughout the day and notify management/supervisors of any changes in health or appearance of the dogs in our care
• Become fluent in animal play behavior and signs of aggression to include overall pet safety.
• Additional general duties and project work as needed
• Accurate data entry, correct punctuation and spelling
• Keep up with basic health, vaccination, and safety knowledge
• Additional duties assigned to you by your supervisor
• Your responsibilities will not only include those specifically listed above but also those that follow common sense, industry best practices and standards, pet, Counselor client safety, implied and/or otherwise not specified in writing

Requirements:

· Previous work experience with dogs is helpful but not required. We have extensive training during the onboarding process

• Must be 20 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States
• Above average computer and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, take notes, and follow through with assigned duties to completion
• Ability to adapt to high demand times
• Able to stand on your feet for up to 8-10 hours
• Pleasant phone etiquette
• Social Media experience is a plus
• Good grammar and spelling
• Inviting and welcoming personality
• Always have a SMILE!!
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have open availability with no conflicts or availability restrictions
• Must be able to work well on a team. Our team is everything, and this is how we keep our Campers safe
• Ensure Camp cleanliness at all times
• Individual accountability. We require punctuality and being present for assigned shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
