- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary
- Customer service, either over the phone or in person
- Scheduling patients’ appointments, confirming appointments
- Present financial breakdown and collect payments
- Perform general administrative tasks such as scanning and data entry
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Participate in social media production
- Assist team if needed
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible office professional with a friendly attitude and strong organizational skills to serve as our Front Desk Receptionist. In this position, you will greet patients entering the office and create the ultimate patient experience while they wait to see the Dentist or Hygienist. In addition, you’ll be responsible for answering and managing the phones, keeping the Doctor(s) and Hygienist schedule productive. The office is fast paced and requires multitasking. Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Greet all patients by first name with a friendly personality as they arrive and assist them throughout their office visit.
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
- Confirm all future appointments
- Check, distribute and answer all messages
- Create Claims
- Follow-up with unscheduled treatment appointments.
- Assist in all the duties to help create a great work flow from open to close.
Qualifications:
- Dental receptionist/treatment coordinator: 2 years (Required)
- Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with your co-workers and patients
- Driven personality to want to strive to be the best in your profession and provide the best care for our patients.
- Knowledge of Open Dental and Dexis Preferred
