Guest Services/Salon Front Desk (Neenah)
We are looking to expand our team at Salon Aura of Neenah! As a Receptionist you are the first impression our guests have of Salon Aura of Neenah. Responsibilities include compassionately greeting all incoming guests, helping them with their appointments, product questions, or any related information they may need. Professionally answering phones and emails in a polite and helpful tone. Completing service transactions at the end of every guest’s appointment. Also receptionists perform various Front Desk duties including light cleaning, confirming appointments, laundry, updating client information, etc.
Job Description
- Answer incoming telephone calls to schedule appointments and answer questions
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, determining the nature and purpose of their visit
- Schedule appointments, maintaining and updating stylists schedules, providing appointment confirmation.
- Receive payments for transactions, record keeping of receipts, handling and reconciling cash daily.
- Assist with any tasks assigned by management
- Key holding responsibilities for opening and closing shifts
- Light cleaning tasks including laundry, dusting, dishes and keeping the salons appearance tidy
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Experience: Position with similar customer service preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients using a high level of interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize task according to importance in a fast pace environment
- Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality.
- Must be proficient in handling office equipment including basic computer skills, multiple lined telephones, printers etc.
- Dependable, punctual and flexible.
- A passion for the beauty industry would be wonderful!
We are looking to fill a part/full time position 15-20 hours a week, you must be flexible and willing to work two Saturdays a month.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
