Front Desk Reception Physical Therapy

Private Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy and Wellness practice is hiring for a part time Front Desk Receptionist with potential for growth.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing front office tasks such as managing the patient schedule, answering phones, checking emails, sending and receiving faxes, processing mail
• Daily communication with patients, other medical providers and clinical staff
• Creating and managing electronic medical charts; knowledge of ICD-10 codes
• Presenting treatment plans to the patient and managing treatment plans in coordination with the Physical Therapy team
• Accepting and entering payments, billing, generating receipts and statements
• Providing an amazing customer experience for our clients and patients
• Secondary duties include occasional assistance in the back office assisting the Physical Therapists with patients, maintaining the cleanliness of the clinic and treatment areas, marketing events.

Qualifications Include:

• Experience interacting with patients in the medical or dental field.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to multi-task
• Excellent follow-through on delegated tasks and projects
• The ability to work proactively as well as function as part of a team
• Training will be provided but must be comfortable with the use of computer and internet-based systems for all daily work activities including Google

Please only apply if you have experience in the medical or dental field performing the job duties listed. Previous experience in a Physical Therapy or Chiropractic practice is a bonus. One year experience in a related field is preferred but not required.

The clinic is in a great area close to Lake Murray and Mission Trails Park; directly across from Cowles Mountain. References will be required. Completion of the automatic phone screen is highly recommended for consideration for an interview. Top candidates will also be asked to complete a working interview as part of the interview process.
