Front Office Receptionist

Job Description

The Front Office Receptionist is a liaison between the clinic and the patients. They are friendly, customer-oriented, and ensure each patient feels welcomed as soon as they walk through the door. They are responsible for managing patient check-ins and data entries to ensure the clinic runs quickly and efficiently.

Job Duties

Patient check-in responsibilities:

• Collecting payment/communicating billing info
• Collecting/checking pertinent paperwork
• Uphold/enforce cancellation policy

Phone responsibilities:

• Taking cancellations and reschedules
• Scheduling appointments
• Redirecting patients to the appropriate lines
• Communication with other doctor’s offices
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Manage/update patient prescriptions
• Will be responsible for presenting metrics at weekly staff meetings

Experience:

• Experience working for an Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic
• Front desk experience
• Health insurance experience
• Experience working with EMR system, Theraoffice

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
