```Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our Brand New Hilton Home2 Suites in Bolingbrook. As the Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Front Desk and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will also be working closely with the General Manager on the day-to-day Sales, Group Sales. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and strong leadership abilities, we want to hear from you.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the Front Desk staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest accounts
- Monitor and resolve any issues with reservations or billing discrepancies
- Conduct regular inspections of the Front Desk area to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Review and follow up on the Sales Calls
- Review and Negotiate the Group Sales
- Assist with night audit duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel management or Front Desk operations is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Sales Experience a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable
- Proficient in using hotel management software systems
- Knowledge of guest relations principles and practices
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact
- Strong organizational and time management skills
