Position Summary
General Atlantic is actively seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Concierge for our New York City office. This person will partner with our current Front Desk Concierge, teaming to maintain seamless service for all guests in our New York City office. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and is excited to leverage new technology and tools relating to office management.
Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone calls and directs callers to appropriate associates.
  • Booking meetings in company specific software and enter guests in security system.
  • Provide callers with general information, including company address, directions, and other related information.
  • Meet and greet guests as they enter the office while providing excellent hospitality and addressing their needs.
  • Assist with Zoom connections and/or audio dial-in of meetings. Coordinate with IT as needed.
  • Maintain front of house conference center including all meeting rooms, phone rooms and common lounge spaces.
  • Use intercom/voicemail system to announce appointments and calls.
  • Respond to member/guest suggestions, concerns, and complaints in a timely, professional, and consistent manner and escalate to management as needed.
  • Place catering orders for meetings and office events.
  • Hours will be from 9:30 - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday with some overtime as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • 5+ years in customer service and receptionist type role.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, able to articulate and communicate with customers and management and staff.
  • Able to demonstrate problem resolution skills.
  • Able to work effectively with all departments, associates, management, visitors, and customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing and detail oriented.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of ethics and integrity, and confidentiality.
