Front Desk Concierge

We are looking for a pleasant Front Desk Concierge to undertake all safety and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential. The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.

Responsibilities

• Keep Front Desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)
• Greet and welcome guests
• Check, sort and forward emails
• Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
• Answer questions and address complaints
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions

Requirements

• Proven experience as Front Desk representative, agent or relevant position
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• High School diploma is required
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Proven experience as security officer or guard

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
