Responsibilities:
- -Capable of doing all the shift depends on the assigned schedule: (7:00am to 3:00pm/ 3:00pm-11:00pm/ 11:00pmto7:00am).
- -capable of doing 2 night shifts, 1 afternoon shift and/or 1-2 morning shift
- -capable of doing 30-40hrs a week
- -expect weekend shift
- -Atleast 1-2 years experience in hospitality
- -Manage the registration process and ask if guests have a prior booking
- -Ask for identification and ensure that the provided credentials are accurate
- -Operate hotel booking system, take calls and provide information and transfer calls
- -Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person
- -Answer queries regarding the hotel’s services, charges, dining facilities, sports facilities and travel directions
- -Refer guests to appropriate departments to resolve complaints or provide suggestions
- -Compute bills and take payments
- -Contact housekeeping and maintenance departments when a problem is reported
- -Explain appropriate use of keys and ensure that guests are satisfied with the rooms allotted to them
- -Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and accurately recorded
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest accounts
- Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk area and lobby
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as required
- -prepare the coffee area during night/ morning shift
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and Front Desk operations
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of guest services and hospitality industry standard
