Form of workMaximus is currently hiring for a Front Desk Attendant to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team in Houston, TX. The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for various administrative duties to ensure a seamless day-to-day for all VES departments.
Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring and ordering office/break room inventory and supplies.
- Owns the process of conference room preparation/scheduling and coordination of special events.
- Responsible for Front Desk reception; send/receive packages, welcome and provide direction to guests.
- Responsible for meal services, guest guidance and special projects as needed.
- Serve as the initial POC for matters pertaining to physical security and on-site emergencies.
- Provide expertise and define facilities management requirements to meet all company goals and needs.
- Take minutes at executive meetings, as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience required.
- Related experience can include positions in hospitality and Front Desk reception.
- Must be comfortable being front facing, taking initiative and problem solving, as needed.
- Professional verbal and written communication, Microsoft Office skills, and organization skills.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
