The Hampton Inn Washington is currently seeking a Front Desk Agent.
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout. Must effectively resolve guest concerns and/or related issues and communicate to all levels of management. Must have excellent cash handling skills and must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment. Knowledge of the local area required.
This position will work the 3 PM - 11 PM and/or the 7 AM - 3 PM shift
Must also be able to work weekends and holidays as business levels dictate.

- Performs any combination of following duties for guests of hotel: Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
- Issues room key and communicates hotel amenities to hotel guests.
- Transmits and receives messages, using telephone or telephone switchboard.
- Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Works closely with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure the guests stay is enjoyable and hotel rooms and public areas are in working order.
- Works closely with hotel GM to ensure the guest is taken care of.
- Ensure the hotels safety and security levels are maintained during their shift.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $12.50 per hour

Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
