Elements of Style Salon Frederick, a full-service hair salon, has developed a culture of honesty, integrity, trust, and friendship. Must enjoy and excel at sales offerings and have a charismatic personality. A part-time position is available for a career-minded person (days, evenings, and weekends, Sunday availability is required).

This position is responsible for providing a great first and last impression in customer care, offering salon guests additional service opportunities, as well as assisting guests in understanding our products, specials, and company programs while following all company policies and procedures.

A few Responsibilities:

Collaborate with salon staff to ensure smooth operations

Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries

Booking guest appointments

Provide excellent customer service

Welcome and greet guests upon arrival

Clean and organize the salon

Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately

Assist the hairstylist with all services including Shampoo Guests

Promote fashion and hair styling

Educate members and guests about salon services and home care, products, and policies

Provide information about salon services, products, and promotions

Assist clients with check-in and check-out procedures

Fast-Paced Fun Environment

Interacting and building relationships with regular guests.

Must be able to talk to strangers.

Must be self-motivated.

Must be able to follow a dress code that is trendy and professional

MUST have reliable transportation to work.

Encouraged Experience

-experience as a receptionist

-salon/cosmetology experience or interest

-detail-oriented

-experience with a POS system

-experience with a booking system

```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of color theory, hair styling, hair extensions, nail care, makeup application, hair threading, and cosmetology is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Basic math skills for retail transactions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
