The Front Desk Agent is the first and last person that interacts with guests. As the friendly face of the property, the Front Desk Agent has a desire to work with people. You are responsible for communicating in a welcoming and efficient manner, while ensuring that guests' needs are properly addressed.
What will I be doing?
As a Front Desk Agent, you would be responsible for checking in and checking out guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Assist guests in-person, by telephone, and by email
- Checking guests in/out
- Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Provide directions to guests to local destinations by utilizing online tools
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel, including, but not limited to, directions, hours of operation, hotel services, hotel events and local and community events and attractions
- Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
- Provide or obtain accurate information
- Maintain cleanliness of workspace including any guest facing area
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager
