Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management, food service, and customer service. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant or hotel, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and maximizing profitability.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction
- Train and mentor staff members to deliver exceptional customer service
- Oversee the hiring and training process for new employees
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu offerings
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of restaurant or hotel operations, including food service management, cash handling, and kitchen operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests
- Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting and cost control
