Front Desk Agent At Fort Lauderdale Hotel (Evenings And Weekends)

We are looking for a friendly and professional representative to work as a Front Desk Agent at our branded hotel close to Fort Lauderdale beach. The Front Desk Agent will use customer service and communication skills to provide the guest with an exceptional and accommodating hotel experience. The agent will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency to maintain high customer satisfaction. Work days may very depending on needs, from Monday to Sunday, with opportunity for a full time position over time.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room keys
• Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
• Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges
• Answer and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in
• Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, which may include weekends, nights, and holidays

And must be able to:

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 15 lbs. without assistance
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
