The Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival, registering guests into the computer, verifying registration and credit card information. Front Desk Agents need to make reservations for future arrivals and walk in guests. They will need to promote the Marriott Rewards program and provide recognition and benefits to all present members as well as provide enrollment for nonmembers. The Front Desk Agent will accept payment for guest accounts both at time of registration and check out. Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily. Post miscellaneous charges as requested. Answer telephone calls and answer questions and requests with 100% accuracy.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Front desk experience in hospitality is strongly preferred. Must be able to stand for 8 hour shifts and lift up to 10lbs. Strong knowledge in leading customer service and in computers. The ability to work a variable of shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays between the hours of 6am and 12am.
Full Service PMS Marriott experience required. Must have knowledge of FSPMS Marriott operating system.
**Pay is based on experience.
