Job Description Summary:
The Front Desk Agent's responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing a friendly, efficient registration, guest settlement, concierge service and relaying local information to all guests, fellow employees and visitors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check guest in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, accurate information is entered.
Provide exceptional customer service with smile and empathy.
Thoroughly complete all guest transactions.
Promote and sell special hotel programs.
Interact with staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
Communicate all pertinent information to the Front Office and General Managers and department heads.
Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds
