SalaryRain City Fencing Center (RCFC) is the premier sport fencing facility in Washington State. Since May of 2000, we have taught thousands of students the sport of Olympic fencing through our classes, summer camps, and school programs. Our competitive program has sent fencers to local, regional, national, and international competition.
We are looking for friendly, energetic people to be the face of RCFC to our customers! As our Front Desk / Accounts Representative, you'll help students and parents with questions about fencing, signing up for classes and lessons, paying their bills, and purchasing equipment.
About the Job:
- Help students check in for their classes and lessons
- Answer the phone and return voicemails
- Talk to prospective customers about our club and our programs
- Take payments in person and over the phone
- Help fit students for fencing equipment
- Process payment receipts and other transactions into QuickBooks Online
- Follow up with past due customers
- Other duties as assigned
- Full time hours. Availability for afternoon/evening schedule (generally 12:00-8:00 PM, M-F)
About You:
- Office PC experience (Word, Excel, email, database-oriented websites, QuickBooks Online)
- Good organizational skills
- Good customer interaction and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Efficiency at performing multi-step computer tasks
- Knowledge of simple point-of-sale systems and credit card sales a plus
- Foreign language skills (especially Chinese or Russian) a plus
- Minimum 3 years experience in customer service and/or accounts receivable roles
- Friendly, outgoing personality!
Benefits:
RCFC offers a 401k plan to eligible employees, free parking, paid sick leave, and an EAP. Pay is $25.00-$30.00/hour depending on skills and experience.
