Job Title: Front and Back Office Medical Assistant
FRONT OFFICE
- Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization by efficiently scheduling appointments.
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by verifying patient insurance benefits and eligibility prior to the appointment; preparing necessary documents
- Maintain optimum patient confidentiality and safety.
BACK OFFICE
- Room and take patient vitals
- Administer injections and/or draw blood
- Review medical history
- Assist the provider with patient care
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimally 2 years experience as a MA
- MA Certified
- CPR Certified
- Speaks Spanish is a plus
