Job Description

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $55k - $65k Annual depending on Experience

Job Description:

• Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to customer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors to optimize costs and maintain profitability.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs documents, and export/import paperwork.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients on their status.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transit, taking proactive measures to minimize disruptions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance service offerings and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working in freight forwarding or logistics, with a strong understanding of international shipping processes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills, high energy level, dependable, hard-working and emotional control
• Ability to prioritize workload and thrive in a fast paced, high stress environment
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Bilingual (English & Chinese) Required
