Currently, we’re on the lookout for an International Ocean Freight Forwarder passionate about improving global logistics.If you can’t stop unless you offer the best sea freight services or find solutions to every logistical puzzle, then you have the drive we are looking for.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating international Ocean Export/Import freight services, ensuring Door-to-door delivery. You will also be managing various services such as FCL, LCL, Breakbulk, Export/Import filling, etc.
- Liaising with customers, carriers, vendors, and stakeholders for efficient transportation.
- Monitoring shipment progress, ensuring compliance with regulations and accurate documentation. You will also maintain accurate documentation and records of shipments in TMS, invoices, and related documents.
- Cultivating relationships with carriers and vendors, managing budgets, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Engaging with customers and shipping parties to maintain workflow and policy adherence.
- Collaborating with foreign logistics agents and U.S. Transportation authorities (e.g., DOT, TSA, and FMC).
- Coordinating with the Accounting Team for billing and vendor's AP verification.
- Supervising logistics processes, leading daily operations, and driving business development.
- Mentoring current and new employees, promoting continuous learning and achievement.
What will set you up for success:
- You bring 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding operations, specifically in ocean freight.
- You have a solid understanding and expertise in the Ocean Freight Industry, INCOTERMS, TSA regulations, IAC, IATA essentials, FMC Regulations, and DOT Regulations. At your work, you follow essential rules and statements of the Federal Maritime Commission related to OTI business, NVOCC, and the Freight Forwarding industry.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
