Position Overview:
We are looking for a Freelance Copywriter with a passion for sustainability and a background in journalism to help us tell our story and communicate our vision to the world. As a Freelance Copywriter for Ren, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand identity and engaging our audience through compelling and informative content.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for various digital and print platforms, including website content, blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, press releases, and marketing collateral.
- Research: Conduct in-depth research on renewable energy topics, industry trends, and relevant news to create well-informed and accurate content.
- Storytelling: Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and narrative that resonates with our target audience while effectively conveying our mission and values.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing and design teams to create content that aligns with our marketing campaigns and brand guidelines.
- Editing and Proofreading: Ensure all content is free of errors, grammatically correct, and adheres to our style guide.
- News and Updates: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the renewable energy sector and translate this information into timely and relevant content.
Qualifications:
- A strong background in journalism or related field, with experience in writing news articles, features, or editorial content.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
- Ability to simplify complex technical information for a general audience.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, meeting deadlines consistently.
Additional Information:
- This is a freelance position with a flexible work schedule, allowing you to work remotely.
- Compensation will be based on experience and the scope of the project.
