In this role the Fraud & Loss Analyst I - eCommerce will be responsible to monitor eCommerce and retail transactions for signs of potential fraud and partner with the appropriate business partners to mitigate potential loss. The ideal candidate will have experience with exception reporting systems, eCommerce platforms, and fraud research. Candidates should have the ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team.

Work Location: Naperville, IL
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Informs leader of status and results for assigned tasks and proactively identify fraud and loss issues and recommend corrective action as appropriate.
  • Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
  • Provides support to internal personnel and external service providers on a daily basis.
  • Handles correspondence from shared mailboxes and responds quickly and appropriately to issues.
  • Serves as the technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts.
  • Conducts reviews of assigned project topics to determine best practices and anticipated impact of the project.
  • Analyzes working procedures with the objective to identify best practices and improve efficiencies.
  • Research payment and credit charge backs associated with fraud.
  • Ensures that required and necessary documentation is completed and properly maintained.
  • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
  • Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Business, Accounting or Finance required.
  • Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
  • Experience with data analytics and aggregation software such as Splunk, Tableau or similar preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
  • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
  • Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
  • Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Travel:
  • Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
