Fractional Instructional Designer

120VC is seeking a Fractional Instructional Designer who will be responsible for creating and designing effective training programs and educational materials. The role involves utilizing current education content to expand into new learning activities using various instructional design methodologies and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with 120VC CEO CXO to identify training needs, goals, and objectives. Conduct thorough analysis to understand the target audience and their learning preferences.
• Develop comprehensive training curriculum, outlining the scope, structure, platform and sequence of training modules. Ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Create or oversee the creation of training content, including written materials, multimedia elements, and interactive resources. This may involve designing eLearning courses, instructor-led materials, or blended learning solutions.
• Select and apply appropriate instructional strategies, methods, and techniques to meet the learning objectives.
• Incorporate multimedia elements such as videos, animations, and simulations to enhance learning experiences. Ensure content is engaging, visually appealing, and interactive.
• Utilize learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and other technologies to deliver and track training content.
• Design assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Use feedback to make continuous improvements.
• Manage instructional design projects, including timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of training materials and address any errors or issues promptly.
• Ensure that training materials comply with relevant laws and regulations and are accessible to learners with diverse needs.
• Maintain detailed records of the instructional design process, including design documents, content versions, and feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or a related field
• Proven experience in instructional design, eLearning, or educational content development.
• Proficiency with instructional design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Learning Management Systems).
• Strong project management skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Creativity and the ability to think outside the box when designing engaging learning experiences.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusivity principles in training design.
• Knowledge of data analytics for training assessment is a plus.
