Fp&A - Financial Analyst I

Position Summary

This position is at our corporate office in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada onsite in the Treasury & Finance department. This role is primarily focused on analyzing data, supporting ad-hoc financial analysis, and acting as a key resource within the department. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker, highly motivated, and a self-starter. In addition to a strong understanding of financial analysis and accounting, communication and interpersonal skills are important to work successfully with internal clients and team members.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Play a key role in supporting the team's creation of monthly deliverables and the annual budget process.
• Perform analysis of key business information and drivers to identify trends.
• Conduct planning and analysis to identify opportunities and gaps.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested, primarily related to anomaly detection, investigation, and explanation.
• Preparation and ownership of internal presentations to senior management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a strong business orientation.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office applications, and exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across various teams and multiple functions within the Bank.
• A willingness to take ownership of the role and a keen ability to partner with senior management.
• Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a small team on a day-to-day basis.
• Capable of preparing & delivering accurate and logical presentations.

Preferred

• Experience in Net Suite, Tableau, and financial services
