Requirements of the position
- BA/BS degree in accounting/finance
- 2 to 5 years experience in analyst
- Health care experience preferred

The Financial Analyst provides reporting on financial status of the organization by preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts, and reports.
General Duties
- Develop executive reports and dashboards
- Review business practices and recommend process improvements
- Prepare financial analysis to aid management in making informed business decisions
- Conduct internal audits
- Partner with operations to provide relevant business information
- Works, as a member of the finance/accounting team, with department managers and corporate staff to develop long term business plans, as appropriate
- Manages the preparation of monthly financial reports
Customer Service
- Has general knowledge of services offered by NVHC
- Sets the example of exemplary customer service for both internal and external customers
- Ensures cleanliness of work environment during operational hours
Quality Management
- Proactively alert for ways to improve customer service, increase productivity, and improve utilization of resources, communicating and/or implementing opportunities
- Participates in quality management projects, as requested
- Notifies supervisor of unusual occurrences and adheres to policy regarding incident forms and/or patient complaints
- Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and other regulatory agencies
- Attends and actively participates in staff meetings, as requested
- Follows all NVHC policies and procedures
