The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to assist senior management in making strategic business decisions. The role has a unique opportunity for high visibility in M&A workstreams and reporting to our Board of Directors.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key metric tracking
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations
- Support strategic decision-making processes by providing financial insights and scenario analysis
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by validating and reconciling information from various sources
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, streamline reporting, and improve efficiency
- Implement best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a corporate setting
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software and ERP systems (NetSuite)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
