Job description

The Team:

The Finance team is responsible for protecting the Company’s financial assets, mitigating financial risks and reporting the financial position of the company to business stakeholders. The department is comprised of four main pillars: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Treasury & Inventory Control.


The Opportunity:

As the Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in the preparation of annual budgets, reforecasts, business plans and monthly/quarterly reporting requirements. In partnership with the FP&A team, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of financial reports and memos, with comprehensive variance analysis of actual results vs. budget/reforecasts and prior year results. You will also be responsible for the review of specific P&L accounts on a monthly basis for integrations into budgets and reforecasts and will collaborate with business partners to guide them with managing their respective P&L in the most effective manner.


About the Role:

  • Responsible for all sales reporting (weekly, monthly, memo, sell through) and sales planning (budget and forecast), ensuring each time the integrity of the figures
  • Responsible for gross margin validation and correction monthly
  • Main point of contact for inquires related to retail and cost pricing from stores and warehouse needed for daily operations
  • Closely collaborate, within the Accounting/Finance department and cross-functionally as needed, during closing, budgeting, and reforecasts preparation
  • Analysis of specific overhead expenses – explanation of variances between actual results vs. budget/forecast and LY
  • Quarterly publication of all reporting requirements in Magnitude
  • Preparation of work files for hard closes and budget
  • Implement, maintain, and enhance reporting tools within Cegid, SAP, TM1, and Excel
  • Business partner to department heads to support them with P&L and budget management
  • Management of special projects as required upon by business needs
  • All other duties assigned by supervisor

  • 2-3 years’ experience in similar role and/or environment
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and credibility

  • Commitment to excellent performance
  • Strong financial planning and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Cegid, Cognos, SAP, Magnitude and TM1 systems with strong Excel skills

The range for this position is $63,760.00 - $95,640.00 annually. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
