Pay Range: $73,154 - $121,252
Note: Individuals typically begin between the minimum to middle of the pay range
Work in a team approach to develop, implement, evaluate and enhance the Foundation's program activities. The Program Officer will be the primary Foundation contact with grantees and prospective partners. The Program Officer will conduct site visits, assess partnership opportunities, analyze and synthesize information, prepare written and verbal reports, undertake special research assignments, work on developing program strategies (including evaluation), and continuously improve knowledge of the nonprofit sector, philanthropy and content areas related to the Foundation's funding interests.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree and four years related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong speaking, writing, social and leadership skills.
- Facilitation skills.
- Previous community engagement experience.
- Experience with public speaking to a diverse audience.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate working knowledge of database management applications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Will engage with community partners and take leadership in building the evaluation and assessment capacity of the Foundation and its partners to inform the program and project visions. In this capacity, the Program Officer:
- Serves as a primary contact for a portfolio of grantee partnerships including developing grant outcomes and milestones, maintaining effective relationships, monitoring and reporting grant progress and impact. Researches, evaluates and communicates with potential partners. Conducts site visits and meets with prospective partners as appropriate. Prepares grant proposal summaries, analyses, and recommendations for management and board review.
- Develops services that will provide value to partners and to the Foundation, improving capabilities, scale and impact. Provides support to partners over and above the Foundation's financial support.
- Develops processes to measure, learn from, and improve impact. Makes meaningful and constructive contributions to the team to ensure the Foundation continues to grow and improve its programmatic efforts.
- Represents the Foundation and participates in strategic network and field building efforts related to the Foundation's program areas and initiatives (ad hoc working groups, planning committees, advisories, conferences, etc.). Provides reports concerning program areas, keeps abreast of and reviews literature (including webinars) in the Foundation's funding interest areas. Undertakes special projects and works on special initiatives, as needed.
- Prepares general communications, including content for the Foundation's website and social media. Serves as a Foundation Representative in the public. Makes public presentations as needed. Assists with event planning as needed. Maintains collegial working relationships with colleagues and constituents.
- Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.
