Job Details:FOUNDATION GIFT AND DONORS RECORDS SPECIALIST
Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the following position: Foundation Gift and Donors Records Specialist in the Coastal Education Foundation.
The Foundation Gift and Donor Records Specialist reports to the Coastal Educational Foundation’s Director of Finance. This is a mission critical position for the successful financial performance of the Coastal Educational Foundation(“CEF”), the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation (“CAF”), and the CCU Department of Advancement & Alumni Engagement (“A&AE”). Professional duties include the recording and maintenance of Foundation Donor Records, the verification and analysis of documentation supporting donor gift transactions, including cash, pledges, planned, matching and gifts-in-kind. Specific skill set includes developing and enhancing highly automated integrated systems to support donor transactions and community reporting. Knowledge of the IRS tax deductibility relative to donations. Attention to detail and organization skills are required. Exceptional written and oral communication skills are necessary as the constituent base is broad and often demanding. Excel spreadsheet proficiency is critical.
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and three (3) years of clerical accounting experience is required. An associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in business or accounting preferred. Blackbaud software experience a plus.

Operations Assistant II (AH74/61122352/FTE-S00966P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 04. Salary range is $31,561.00 (minimum) to $58,393.00 (maximum). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
