Forklift Operator/Warehouse

This position is responsible for receiving raw materials or finished products and warehousing of receipts. In addition, is responsible for picking and shipping customer orders and maintaining inventory integrity through physical inventories.

Job Details:

1. Associate is responsible to follow requirements of TMC Quality System; including but not limited to requirements for traceability of product, recognizing customer complaints and the requirement to forward information to QA, and the Quality System requirements for Distribution centers.

2. Processing of incoming raw materials.

3. Processing finished goods for shipment.

4. Processing all incoming small packages.

5. Processing all production requests in manual warehouse.

6. Driving the Company truck both local and long distance.

7. Assist production with supplying or removing cartons, pallets, chemical drums, hazardous waste removal, trash removal, etc.

8. Assistance with all loading or unloading of freight, includes count and condition verification. Assistance with automation problem solving, changing AGV batteries and drop stands, etc.

9. Maintaining warehouse in clean and organized manner.

10. Requires the ability to drive various types of powered industrial lift equipment.

11. Follow FIFO rotation for the selection of raw material or finished goods.

12. Assists with the filing of carrier claims.

13. Prepares bills of lading and contacts carriers for pick up.

14. Daily compliance with the completion of pre-operational checks of all Powered Industrial Lift Equipment used in the warehouse.

15. Assist in the cycle count/physical inventory process.

16. Participates in project performance team meetings on behalf of the job unit in order to provide ideas, methods, or processes for unit/company performance improvement.

17. Proper job performance is important ensuring incoming deliveries are processed quickly to avoid product line shutdowns, loss of revenue, verify accurate deliveries, etc

18. Entering receipts for incoming deliveries inaccurately will lead to inventory shortages or overages, accounts payable will be unable to process payments, etc.

19. Loading and unloading properly to ensure no product loss or damage, incorrect product shipped, etc.

20. Performs other job related duties assigned. Working Conditions: Position exists in warehouse environment.

Typically works in an uncontrolled environment involving adverse weather conditions, non-sterile working area, etc. Position occasionally requires gowning procedures for controlled environment and adherence to safety precautions in designated areas. May involve the handling of hazardous waste. May at times requires the use of personal protective equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $20.22 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Forklift: 2 years (Required)
• Distribution center: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Tolleson, AZ 85353: Relocate before starting work (Required)
