SalaryTEEMA is looking for a Forklift Operator to join a distribution company in North Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you’ll organize the warehouse and drive a forklift for an international corporation.
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM-5 PM
Responsibilities:
1. Organize the warehouse and drive the forklift with heavy pallets that will be placed on 13-foot shelves.
2. Prepare packages and necessary documentation for shipping, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
3. Fulfill orders by verifying shipping documents and pulling materials from inventory.
4. Process paperwork related to the distribution of equipment and supplies, including distribution forms, requisitions, purchase order forms, and packaging slips.
5. Conduct quality assurance checks on all received products before stocking or shipping.
6. Maintain the warehouse in an organized, clean, and safe manner, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
7. Monitor stock levels and promptly report to the supervisor when inventory is low.
8. Assist in ordering equipment and supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
9. Participate in periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment required.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and protocols.
