Our focused research, services and products include complex DevSecOps solutions to support refugee processing across multiple federal agencies, research and development for Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I), Data Analytics, and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) development and sensor capabilities supporting both the aerospace/defense and intelligence communities, as well as complex HHS comprehensive care coding requirements, and integrated management systems for our countries civilian agencies (FAA, FDIC, HOR, etc.) .

Overview
Development InfoStructure (Devis) is currently seeking a Foreign Assistance Business Specialistto support Corporate Headquarters. This position will be REMOTE with occasional travel to the office in Arlington, VA! As a Foreign Assistance Business Specialist, you will play an essential role in providing support to senior executives, program managers, and business operations within humanitarian and international development projects. Your skills in business development support, policy research, and administrative management will be instrumental in facilitating project success.
Responsibilities
Support Executive Leadership and Senior Program Managers:
Provide comprehensive business support and policy research to aid decision-making processes.
Collaborate closely with executive leadership and senior managers, offering strategic support and recommendations.
Support business development in OCONUS proposals, including creating templates, updating information, graphics, production.
Assist Humanitarian Programs:
Offer surge support to refugee projects, leveraging your skillset to address organizational challenges and enhance operational efficiency.
Manage documentation and document configuration to support deliverable compliance with relevant contractual requirements.
Support Recruitment for Government Projects:
Facilitate recruitment efforts for Foreign Assistance projects, primarily with the Department of State and USAID, ensuring staffing objectives are met efficiently.
Create and maintain a talent bench, screen resumes, and interview candidates, as needed.
Develop and maintain processes for management for OCONUS hiring, as needed, for DoS, MCC, USAID, and other agencies.
Manage Professional Contacts and Business Partners:
Track and manage professional contacts with development and humanitarian experts and business partners, fostering strong relationships to facilitate collaboration.
Coordinate networking activities within the Foreign Assistance sector, promoting partnerships and alliances that benefit ongoing programs.
Required Skills/Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years in international development, humanitarian assistance, business consultancy, or relevant field.
Strong understanding of humanitarian operations, policy frameworks, and business operations.
Proven ability to conduct in-depth business and policy research to inform decision-making processes.
Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills as well as verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining professional networks within the humanitarian sector with a robust network within OCONUS agencies (DoS, USAID, MCC).
Education/Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
