Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) Specialist
Job purpose
The DMDC Help Desk contractor aids the government and other contractors in troubleshooting, and managing DMDC courses hosted on JKO.
Duties and responsibilities
- The DMDC Help Desk contractor resolves issues and problems with users accessing DMDC courses hosted on JKO.
- Provides assistance with logging into the JKO LMS, assisting users with course lockouts and expired certification training issues.
- Answers training questions regarding the DMDC catalog of online training courses.
- Schedules system updates and procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communications skill required.
- Must be able to convert technical jargon into terminology understood by a layman customer.
- Must be able to provide superior customer service in stressful situations.
- Must be familiar with JKO technical and course operations.
- Must be able to read and comprehend technical information.
- Must be able to write and speak clearly, coherently and concisely.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree
- Security+ preferred.
Years of Relative Work Experience
- 2-3 years experience in software engineering or computer science related field.
Security Clearance
- Secret
