Form of work- Preparing and serving food items for sale to Einstein staff and visitor.
- Preparing all cold food to include, cold platters, salads, desserts, sandwiches, and snacks for patient meal service throughout the Network.
- Stocking the tray line with all necessary cold food items needed for tray assembly.
- Providing proper sanitation and food safety of all functions and proper delivery of all functions and assist with hot food prep if needed.
- Additional duties as assigned; which may include deli, salad and sandwich making, etc.
- May need to assist on room service line.
Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent.
- 1-2 years experience in a healthcare Food Service setting is required.
- 6 months to 1 year in hospitality/customer service required.
- Experience in a high volume cooking environment required.
- Culinary prep skills are a plus.
- Serv-Safe certification is preferred.
Conditions of Employment
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
