GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
In collaboration with the Food Service Manager and Food Service Director, supervises services provided by the Food Service staff in a designated area, within the framework of BCS policies. Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements in providing optimal services for elders, staff, and customers.
ESSENTIALS OF JOB:
- Maintain scheduled times for meal service. (constantly)
- Record food temperatures before serving each meal. (constantly)
- Record all food and storage area temperatures as required by state and federal regulations. (constantly)
- Monitor resident concerns and report to Food Service Director. (constantly)
- Maintain food and supplies to meet menu and resident needs
- Coach and review staff performance. (constantly)
- Maintains sanitation per state regulations. (frequently)
- Proficient in job-related software/computer use. (frequently)
- Maintain staff/resident confidentiality. (constantly)
- Must be able to commit the time necessary from an attendance and punctuality standpoint to accomplish the above specified Essentials of Job. (constantly)
- Contributes to the ongoing process of establishing and meeting departmental and BCS goals and objectives. Participates in utilizing customer feedback to measure and improve effectiveness of service level

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, speak, and write English. Serv-Safe certification is required within 30 days of hire date.
