Food Service Director-SNF/AL
Located in Cherry Hill, NJ
Salary: Up to $90K (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Directs the purchasing, receiving, storing and preparing of food and related products
- Creating the menu, developing recipes, and overseeing kitchen staff, operations, inventory, DOH regulations compliance and orders
- Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates
- Properly opens the Food Service on shift assigned
- Schedules department working hours, personnel, and work assignments to maintain quality service
- Interviews, hires, and trains associates and maintains excellent relationships with clients
- Develops, manages, and maintains Food Service policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Must have experience as a Food Service Director in long term care/ assisted living facility
- Must have managerial experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and handling technique
- General knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and practices
