Description:
Will be deployed on various projects supporting the desktop team that includes installations, hands-on troubleshooting, desktop support, printer support, break-fix, asset management, cleaning and organization of IT equipment, removing drive grids and palates, and assisting with project set-up of simple equipment. There will also be Help Desk/ over the phone support involved, in which the technician will provide the first line of defense/ tier 1 support, and escalate the issues to the higher level tiers as needed. They will be using a ticketing system call Sharewell to document tickets. Ideally, one person would be more aligned to the Help Desk duties, while the other would be providing project/ on-site support, yet the manager is flexible. For example, if one individual really enjoys the customer support side, they can focus more on the Help Desk, while as if the other enjoys tinkering with technology and hands-on work, they can be more focused on the desktop needs that come up at the different locations.
