Position Overview

Riverside Golf and Country Club is seeking a dynamic and efficient Food Runner to join our esteemed team. Within the club, we offer three distinct dining environments - the casual ambiance of our pub and poolside area, and the formal elegance of our main dining room. Our diverse menus cater to a variety of member preferences, from light, casual fare to gourmet dining experiences. As a Food Runner, you will be pivotal in enhancing our members' dining experience, ensuring the prompt delivery of hot, beautifully presented dishes, and upholding the highest standards of service and cleanliness across all dining areas. This position reports directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and the Pub Manager, playing a key role in the seamless operation of our dining services.

Food Runner Job Responsibilities:

- Ensure the timely pickup and delivery of food orders to guests in all dining areas, including the pub, poolside, and main dining room, with a keen eye for order accuracy and presentation standards.

- Support the kitchen and service staff to maintain an efficient flow, focusing on the quality, presentation, and timing of food to elevate the guest dining experience.

- Set up service areas with the necessary equipment, plateware, and smallwares required for effective service across diverse menus and dining settings.

- Keep station supplies fully stocked throughout the shift, ensuring all service materials are readily available.

- Take on additional responsibilities such as bussing tables, rolling silverware, packaging to-go orders, and contributing to the overall efficiency and high level of service within the food and beverage department.

- Uphold cleanliness and organization of service materials and work areas, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

- Assist the kitchen and service teams in performing closing duties, ensuring kitchen and dining areas are clean and organized.

- Complete all side work assigned in both the front and back of the house, as directed by management.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
