Department: Food and Beverage

Reports to: Steakhouse Manager

General Purpose:

To accurately and efficiently deliver food to members while ensuring the highest possible product standards and level service.

Essential Duties:

• Maintain a welcoming, friendly, and professional demeanor throughout the shift. Adress members by their last name and appropriate title or honorific.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shift
• Set up required sanitation stations
• Maintains a clean work station according to all applicable health standards
• Ensures all required items are stocked for the shift including but not limited to clean trays and jackstands, linens, paper and plastic goods for deliveries.
• Check all items for accuracy against tickets with special attention to Modifications, Levels of Doness, Dietary Restrictions or Allergies
• Ensure all sides and condiments are accurate
• Ensure correct utensils are delivered with food
• Deliver food as quickly and accurately as possible
• Communicate Clearly with Kitchen & Front of House Staff
• Prepare and deliver Togo Orders
• Double check that members have all items at table (condiments etc)
• Assist with bussing/Reset where possible
• Maintaining an elegant level of service regardless of business volume

Education/Experience: Minimum Requirements

Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.

Preferred Requirements/Skillset

• Previous Runner or Expo Experience in a Fine Dining environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Self-motivated and driven

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, tastes, smells, talks, listens, uses hands, and reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds. Available to work flexible hours.

Environment/Noise:

Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near moving mechanical parts, near fumes or airborne particles, with toxic or caustic chemicals and in extreme heat or cold (non-weather). Noise level is moderate.

Special Notes:

• BIGHORN is a drug and alcohol-free work place
• Cellphones may not be used in certain work areas or specific periods and you may be required to store your phone should it be required by management.

Certificates/Licenses:

Food Safety and Applicable Sanitation Training.

RBS or equivalent Alcohol Awareness Training.

Valid Driver’s License
