What you will do:
Make happy, delicious hot breakfast and evening food possible for our guests.
Ensure exceptional, positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests.
- Prepare, serve, and clean up our free hot breakfasts/evening happy hour.
- Create a warm, comfortable, relaxing environment.
- Ensure that food safety standards are met and appropriate levels of inventory and supplies are maintained.
- See to it that the breakfast and lobby area are clean and well organized.
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, guest service with a +1 Service attitude.

BASIC FUNCTION & JOB DUTIES:
Under general supervision, provides exceptional customer services, prepares, serves and cleans up Hot Breakfast for guests following Company policies and procedures. Ensures food safety standards are met and maintains appropriate levels of inventory and supplies. Maintains the breakfast/lobby area in a clean and organized manner.
Ensures an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly guest service through discovering and responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests and complaints with a +1 Service Attitude. Contributes to maintaining a positive work environment at all times for our diverse team and guests.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
Requires ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly. Requires ability to communicate in a friendly manner with guests in order to create a warm, comfortable, relaxing environment. Requires knowledge of hotel accommodations, the community and breakfast hours. Requires ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in working with the public or food service experience preferred, but not required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Requires ability to walk and stand during entire working period of 4 - 6 hours. Requires ability to lift 20 - 30 pounds intermittently during the work shift. Requires ability to push a vacuum and/or mop, reach, stretch, and bend in routine daily activities.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
1. Reports to General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Executive Housekeeper.
2. Maintains and promotes a positive and cooperative work relationship with all hotel departments.
