Operates a golf cart and serves beverages to golfers. Work hours vary based on the scheduled or contracted events and include weekday and weekend hours including daytime, afternoon and evening hours. Dependability and flexibility with work availability is required.
ResponsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum age of 21 is required for this position
- Valid Driver's License
- High school graduate or GED Certificate
- One to two years' food service experience
- Valid BASSETT certification or must be able to obtain within 14 days of hire
- Valid Food Handler's certification or must be able to obtain within 14 days of hire
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Makes certain that the golf cart is stocked with appropriate number of beverages snacks and or food items if applicable.
- Keeps beverage cold through packing ice.
- Ensures golf carts have other needed items for serving beverages such as napkins coasters cups etc.
- Verifies that golfers are of drinking age and follows compliance guidelines when serving alcoholic beverages.
- Records all transactions of items served.
May be exposed to the elements when serving on the golf course. Most work tasks are performed outdoors on the golf course with frequent exposure to varying weather condition, including extreme heat or cold, rain, wind, etc. Potential exposure to moving equipment hazards and dangerous chemicals, solvents and pesticides that are used in maintain the golf course.
